“Fungai was worth every cent!” emailed Marian. “He went over and above what the job required.”
When Fungai worked on Mariam’s kitchen, she asked him to use the existing inlets and outlets and not bring it directly from the source outside, as he recommended. After the job was completed, she realised his suggestion was the better option and messaged to tell him that he was right.
“The next morning, he came back and did it over! He worked until he completed the job, and he didn’t charge me an extra cent,” says Mariam.
Fungai joined Fix Forward in January 2019 and has been a valuable member ever since. We are incredibly proud to have him as part of the Fix Forward team. We visited him on his latest project to catch up.
“I always aim for 100% satisfaction,” explains Fungai, “even if it means I have to work a bit harder. Word of mouth is the best way to get business, so it helps my business if my clients are happy”.
Ten years experience
“I have been plumbing for more than ten years now, so it is something I know inside out,” says Fungai.
Like all our contractors, Fungai attended our training and development workshops, which he said was 100% useful. “Most things you think you know, but you really don’t. You need to be educated and I learned a lot there… I feel privileged”.
